But does Black Magic really work?
If you mean, can I use black magic to fix your broken heart, find you a new husband, lift a curse that has been placed upon you, exact revenge on your evil ex-wife, or help you get into that little black dress you last wore twenty years ago… yes I can.
If you mean can I turn you into a dragon, transport you through time, give you a larger penis, make you win the lottery… then no. That I cannot do.
Witches are bound by the laws of physics like everyone else. We can’t control what balls roll out of a lotto machine and anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar, a fraud, probably trying to scam you, and best to be avoided.
Basically, if it’s theoretically possible I can probably do it… if it’s pretty much impossible (that includes winning the lottery), then I probably cannot.
If you’re in any doubt as to whether I can cast your spell, send me a message.
What is (Black) Magic / Magick really?
One of the reasons people have a hard time accepting that magic (sometimes spelt magick) is real, is because they see it as somehow ‘outside of science’. But magic is science. It is science that has yet to be ‘properly’ discovered, yet-to-be-explained, or written down.
One of the reasons why witchcraft and magic were more common in ancient times isn’t because science has subsequently come along and disproved that magic exists - it has merely explained a lot of the magic that was being done at the time.
Before doctors and therapists, before lawyers and judges - before priests and religion - if you were sick or were troubled, if you had been wronged or needed forgiveness, if you sought love or were broken hearted - you and your family would have visited a woman like me. Using her knowledge acquired from a lifetime of helping others, as well as the skills and techniques handed down to her from her mother, and her mother’s mother, that woman - that witch - would have cured illnesses, eased pain and suffering, mended broken hearts, banished enemies, and punished wrong doers.
Whilst much of the magic of ancient times has since been explained by science, there is still plenty of yet-to-be-explained-science (ie. magic) out there.
Why is Black Magic considered wrong or evil?
As you can imagine, the witches of ancient times were extremely powerful and respected individuals within their communities. Little wonder then that as mainstream religion spread across the world, those church leaders (men!) didn’t want a bunch of women getting in the way of what was, and still is, a very useful and lucrative way of controlling the masses.
For more than 500 years, the church, the establishment, scientists - anybody for whom power and respect is a valuable commodity - sought to ‘blacken’ the name of witches, witchcraft and magic.
For much of the 15th, 16th, and 17th century, witches, and anybody suspected of being a witch, were routinely executed. But even today kids are told tales of hook nosed ugly old crones who lured naughty children into forests with ginger bread houses, and then boiled their prey in wrought iron cauldrons. Talk about negative PR!
The undiscovered science that was once thought of as magic - sacred and natural - has successfully been re-labelled as ‘black magic’, evil and unnatural.
Who are you? And what does (Black) Magic mean to you?
My name is Raven. You can find out more about me here. But in summary I have spent my entire life being labelled an outcast. Even some of my sisters - women who also refer to themselves witches - consider me a freak. But that’s okay. It’s who I am. And if you or anyone else want to think of me as a ‘black’ witch, and the magic that I offer as ‘black magic’ - well that’s just fine with me.
I am the modern day counterpart to the solitary young woman, living in the hut, in the woods, in ancient times. Except that I do not live in a hut. Or in the woods. And I don't have hook nose. Nor do I have a cauldron (well, not a big one anyway), and I’ve never plucked the eye from a newt (or any other living creature) - but I am still the one whom the lost and the lonely, the desperate and the sad, the wronged and the cursed, the unlucky and the unloved - seek out for assistance. And when they do, I use magic - yet-to-be-explained science, to help them.
When the modern world has failed you, it's ironic to think that the wisdom of the ancients is but an email away.
Like my sisters before me I charge a fee for my services. I do not work for free. I do not offer credit. I certainly do not take on every case I am offered. But if I can help, I will. Select one of the options from the links below and together let us change your life for the better.
